Stress and anxiety cause physical and emotional responses that can make it difficult to function at home or at work. You may often feel worry, sadness, or a sense of being lost. I help people manage anxiety and stress related to things like relationship issues, work or school stress, traumatic events, panic attacks, fear of flying, miscarriage, or losing a loved one. My masters degree is in psychology from Columbia University and my doctorate is in counseling from Texas Tech. I have extensive training in mindfulness, meditation, and other stress-alleviation techniques that you can learn to use on your own, starting today. In addition to giving you tools for managing stress in the present, I use an efficient therapy called EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) that can help get to the root of stress or anxiety.
