Super friendly and honest

My 1996 Honda accord (stick-shift) sounds hoarse when starting to move and driving at low speed. The noise seems to be worse during corner turning and breaking. I suspected big trouble and called Mr. White who is the owner and mechanic. Although full in schedule, he allowed me to come to his shop. He stood aside, let me to start and move my car, and knew right away that it was low in steering fluid. The problem went away after adding the fluid. It was almost free of charge. I can’t thank him enough and definitely will come back and recommend him to friends and families.

Very good honest business. Excellent work on my car. Had a air door actular replaced on my 2001 mercury. They had to take the entire dash out to get to the part. Very happy with service.

Very honest shop. Wonderful Experience. My college age daughter (ISU) had an accident with her Honda Civic in January. Lost control of the car on I-35 and hit the median guardrail. The car had some body damage due to the accident. Her boyfriend thought the car brakes and steering felt soft and maybe were damaged. She brought the car to White's to have them check it out. They did a great job looking at it and found that nothing was wrong with the car. They did not charge her for anything. It is really wonderful to find a repair shop so honest and helpful. We will definitely use them in the future. It was great to have somebody confirm that the car was OK and to give us peace of mind. Thanks!!

This is the best kept secret in Des Moines in automotive repair! The guys at White's are honest, skilled, honest, accomodating, honest, very reasonably priced, honest, easy going, honest, hardworking, honest, and honest. Oh! And did I mention honest? What more do you want in an automotive mechanic??
