Ms. Donna(owner) and her staff made this day amazing. I had an appointment set up for my bridal party to get fitted. Everything went smoothly. Ms. Donna and her team were very professional, patient, kind, and very knowledgeable with what they were doing. I had an awesome time and I will use them again. I reccomend anyone who is searching for a wedding gown, prom dress, or pageant gown to go here. This place has a great staff and reasonable prices.

I called this location to attempt to set up an appointment to fit for a wedding dress. The person that answered the phone asked me when the wedding date was and I told her in 2 months. She stated that the date was so close and that I would probably have to select something off the rack and maybe have it altered. Which is fine with me. So she said she would prefer that I come in the first Saturday in May because it's prom season...REALLY?? If you're already saying it may be a rush job why would I have to take a back seat to prom goers. If I arrive to the store first, before any other patron, why would that detract from my service especially if I make an appointment and the other shoppers are just walk ins. I explaine that their store hours do not allow me to come during the week as I have to work. I have never heard of such a thing and I think it's poor customer service. This really burned me up for today.

I came in to get fitted for my bridesmaid dress and I was so pleased with how helpful they were. The staff displayed excellent customer service and I walked out of the store very happy. I encourage everyone to take a minute to stop by the shop I promise you won't be disappointed.

Unique Boutique and Bridal is the absolute BEST!!! When I arrived for my appointment, I was greeted and assisted immediately. Although the store was quite busy with other brides and students looking for prom dresses, Ms. Donna went above and beyond to assist me in selecting and trying on dresses and accessories during my appointment. All aspects of the customer service experience exceeded my expectations. She recommended accessories and veils for each dress. They have beautiful gowns from top designers, and they even have plus size sample gowns to provide options for all brides. I live in Nashville, and did not think twice about the drive to Memphis to work with this team of ladies. I called numerous times, and each time, I was assisted with a pleasant, friendly tone that was ready and willing to help. It has been a blessing to have the opportunity to work Ms. Donna and her staff to find the perfect wedding dress for my special day.

Today coming into Memphis from out of town in need of a pageant dress badly but not knowing where to look or where to go I googled and found this one. It was absolutely everything I was looking for plus!

We got the perfect dress. They were amazingly nice and helpful and accommodating. I fell in love with the lady's and can't wait to go back so that can help us get it RIGHT! It may be small but they have it all. I will be back!

Very nice, reasonable prices, excellent staff. Most importantly they appreciate their customers unlike some other places I went in to shop. Very nice staff helped me pick out the perfect dress. And I dont know what the reviewer is talking about saying the dresses aren't in bags, all of them are except the ones on display which is only like 6 dresses. And every employee there makes sure to greet the customers, which is the main reason I decided to purchase there. I have also referred various brides there whom have had no problem with their purchases or customer service.

Unique Boutique is awesome !!!!!! I went in to find a gown for a wedding , the owner and staff were professional helped me find a beautiful dress that was originally $369,but I got it half off. The team even helped me get ready the day of the wedding.

This place was HORRIBLE!!! My best friend and I went to Unique Boutique looking for Alfred Angelo dresses but what we found was a MESS!!! Most of the dresses were not in a garment bag which meant that they were gathering dust and dirt from the floor. The store is small and cramped and the staff is not very helpful at all. She just pointed out where the Alfred Angelo dresses were and left us to sort out dresses for ourselves. It was ridiculous. For the prices they were asking, better service and better care of the dresses is expected. I would NOT recommend Unique Boutique to my worst enemy!

The Worst Experience of My Wedding Planning

Please dont use this bridal place. They are unique alright..only unique for messing things up for you. I purchased my bridal party gowns from them. In the beginning I was told they were going to be back on one date but when the date came I was told something different. My bridal party started calling and checking on their dresses and Ms. Donna told them all different dates. When I called she stated that they were going to be back week before the wedding. When I called back the dresses still were not their and come to find out they never ordered the dresses until a week before my wedding. In the beginning I was told the dresses takes eight weeks to come back and this never happened. Imagine a bride being told several stories by her staff adn when I asked to speak to the lady who told me when the dresses would be back, she was said to be out of town..yeah right. Finally I called and she hung up the phone in my face after leaving me on hold when I started talking to her. My fiance called her back and she stated she did not hang up the phone and that she was saying hello..now my fiance heard the entire converstation because she was on speaker..Overall I got my dresses and she said that she wants to do the alterations..did she think I was crazy or something..why would i let you do my alterations when you cant get ordering my dresses right..not to mention its days before my wedding..She even stated that my bridal party were the ones upsetting me..lol she is crazy..Over all no one should have to deal with this type of experience I dealt with..the customer service was horrible, my brides maid out of town could never reach them including myself..they never put anything in the computer but its all behind them in a folder..We could never get recipts but they wanted to take our card number over the phone without giving us a conformation...No way..Please dont go thru what I went thru..please.. i tried to give them no stars but the system wouldnt let me

THEY RUINED MY DRESS!!!

Unique Boutique has the worst service of any bridal store in Memphis. All I needed was a shorter hem in my bridal gown and some alterations in the bust and the seamstress tore apart my dress. First, she called to see if she could have one more week with my dress. Then, one day after the week was up, I received no phone call. My mother and I went to pick up the dress anyway. As soon as I tried it on, I knew something was wrong. It fit tighter and I had lost 4 pounds. My mother (who is also a seamstress) and I looked inside the dress and there were new cuts everywhere inside it. She had cut open the dress and sewed it back in another, completely crooked seam. There were jagged cuts and holes all on the inside of my dress. We deliberately asked her if she'd done anything else to the dress besides hemming it and and she said that she didn't...lie number 1. It was a lie because she had definitely fixed the bust in the dress. Then, we asked again...same response...lie number 2. Then, we asked if she had done any of the alterations through the side seams of the dress. Once again, she said that she didn't and that was lie number 3. My mother flipped the dress upside down and showed her how it had been cut open. My mother, a seamstress herself, knew that it wasn't right on the inside of the dress. The seamstress acted like she'd never seen it before and she didn't know how it got that way. We paid $135 for my dress to be absolutely ruined. We ended up having to go to another shop to pay $103 for it to be re-altered. The other alterations place could only ALMOST make it perfect. The seam is still crooked. I just can't understand how someone could be so careless with something that is so important to someone. I mean, I have been waiting 6 years to get married and it really hurts to have this happen to me. On another note, my girls got their bridesmaid dresses there also. They all tried to pay over the phone. They all called multiple times, week after week, and the phone rang off the hook. They even tried calling at different times of the day. My maid of honor's dress was too small, and she also had not gained any weight. I was constantly lied to about when they would be in and how they could be paid for. Unique Boutique has terrible service and can ruin any important element of anyone's special day. I am telling everyone I know about this because I don't want anyone to be as hurt as I was. This shouldn't happen to anyone.

I purchased my wedding dress and bridal party dresses from this shop. I had the worst experience with the owner of the shop "Ms Donna". She was very helpful and cordial until we paid our deposits. My wedding dress didn't make it into the store until the day before my wedding. Because this was the store's fault, you would think alterations would have been free or discounted. NO, She acted as if she didn't care. This isn't the worse part of the saga. I took my dress to another place to get alterations done and the ladies there pointed out to me that the train of my dress didn't appear to be new. It had a big spot on it. I had just walked out of Unique Boutique to the other alteration shop. So, Unique Boutique gave it to me that way. I was so upset. Unique Boutique didn't offer me anything to accommodate me for my worries. She was very arrogant and unconcern. I've never seen anyone like that before in my life. Her eyes were so cold. I believe she actually gave me the dress that was on display rather than ordering a new dress for me. Or, either my dress didn't make back in time and she gave me the dress that was on display. Either way, that was so trifling. I am so glad this rating system is available. I would like to warn all brides -- DO NOT PATRONIZE WITH THIS COMPANY---
