On June 8, 2014, I visited the Giant Food Grocery Store at the Reisterstown Road Plaza. I arrived at the store at approximately 5:10 p.m., picked up approximately $32.00 worth of groceries, and made it to the check-out line at 5:30. All of the check-out lines [including the self check-out lines] were crowded. My line had five customers ahead of me. Two of the customers were apparently WIC clients. The Giant cashier was very slow in keying in the purchases. The manager was called over, she spoke with the cashier, and went away. The cashier continued at an extremely slow pace. When I and the customer ahead of me made it to the cashier, we were greeted with "I don't appreciate those comments that you said about me!" I responded that "customer service should be your number one priority." Giant shouldn't have placed an incompetent worker in that position. At least replace her until the line had been reduced. I didn't leave Giant until 6:18 pm. I'll never shop there again. Joshua
