Don't take your car here for b...

Don't take your car here for brakes. You get some unpleasant surprises. The cost jumped on the brake job because they had not included some items required in the estimate. At first the brakes worked fine but now squeal and when I returned the car to have them determine what was causing the noise I was told that the struts were bad causing the weight to shift to the front of the car when braking causing the discs to overheat. For a small fortune the problem could be corrected. I took the car to a Lexus specialist for a second opinion. It was determined that shims between the calipers and brake pads were not installed and the struts were fine and did not need to be replaced.
