Nascar Danger Park

Nascar Speed Park is the epitome of a tourist trap. When I first walked through the door, I could tell something was up. They showed us a list of rides that were closed. The list included the coaster, which was what I was there for. It only showed that three rides were closed. Even though I had no purpose to go anymore, I still decided to give it a shot. I coughed up $32.99 (I didn't type that wrong, it really cost me $32.99!!!) and went through the turnstile. The first thing I saw was a massive arcade and store. There was also a neat little rock wall inside the building. I skipped it and went out the door to the go-kart tracks and rides. The tracks were all large and fun, but the staff running them were very inexperienced. Also, the staff didn't keep a good enough eye on the drivers, as people were bumping and wrecking all over the place! As I walked over to the ride section, I began to realize that that closed ride list was a lie. Almost all of the rides were closed. They said it was because of the weather, but the sky was clear and it stayed that way. There were two foreign girls standing around. I soon found out that they worked there and were the only ride operators in the section. Only three of the big rides were open! I rode the Tilt-A-Whirl once and left that section. In order to get to and from the rides section, you have no choice but to walk straight through a snack bar! There was also mini-golf and a few kiddie rides, but I ran out of time and had to go to the next park. If it was a little cheaper, Nascar Speed Park would have been worth it!
