Services/Products
In-Home Lessons: We will come to your home or another location that is beneficial for training at a time that is best for you and develop a customized program. This is the opportunity for the owner to learn more about their dog and how to achieve a well-balanced, companion dog. Walk and Train: We will pick up your dog from your home or office, and conduct an hour outdoor obedience session with your dog. This program is designed to make fast progress with training for busy pet parents, enrich the dog’s social skills, and provide an outlet for the dog’s excess energy in a safe and supervised environment. Board and Training: The dog will live in the privacy of the trainer's home while we target the specific needs, solve problems, and teach skills for life in the modern world. Unlike a training facility, with our program training takes place inside, in the training yard, during walks in the neighborhood, and at dog-friendly places of business. By the end of the program, we will have established a strong foundation in obedience and addressed any problem behaviors. If you have a new puppy or adult dog, the Board and Train program can help you. Socialization, where puppies and dogs are exposed to different environments and social stimuli in a positive way, is crucial in promoting confidence. The sensitive time for socialization is approximately four to twelve weeks of age, and puppies between the ages of eight and ten weeks often experience what is known as the 'fear period. It is paramount that puppies be socialized to a variety of people, experiences, sights, and sounds to give them confidence as adults. Any negative life experiences that occur during this period can make a lasting impression for the rest of the dog’s life. Puppies looking to attend Board and Training may be paired up with a puppy of similar temperament to benefit from dog-dog socialization. Adult dogs or those with problem behaviors will be limited to 1 dog at a time.
