This place DO NOT DESERVE ANY STAR AT ALL!!! Not a place to relax, 2 small dogs are barking all the time and smelly bathrooms. A very RUDE receptionist. Such a waste of time and money! The worst massage place.

Upon arrival, I was greeted by a friendly receptionist. The ambience was great--dark, cool, and colorful. As I was brought to my room, I noticed how cozy it was. After disrobing and settling into the bed, my masseuse came in and went to work.

Personally, I enjoy a deeper kind of massage. I don't fare well with a simple rub down, so I was very glad when the woman got to work. She started out with a plain old head-to-toe massage, and then transitioned to a back walking routine. That was my favorite part. The woman then proceeded to use her knees to really knead those knots out of my trouble spots, which I particularly enjoyed. This was followed by another very relaxing oil massage.

After a quick hot towel massage, I was given the cup treatment. Given that it was my first time, I was not sure what to expect. The first cup caught me a little off-guard, but once the whole set was applied, it felt very relaxing. Five or so minutes later, they were taken off, and the masseuse explained the toxin removal process. My right side got it the best, which, according to the masseuse, was the main source of toxins. I'm just glad I got it done!

In conclusion, if you are in the Mira Mesa area and are looking for a clean, respectable location to get a massage, I would highly recommend visiting Angel Massage. Quality business, quality massages.

BUYER BEWARE...ANGEL MASSAGE - 9833 Mira Mesa Blvd. This was the worst experience I have ever had with a massage establishment!! The advertised price (on a banner outside) was $20.00/hour. Having just moved into this neighborhood, my husband and I decided to try their massages. Once inside, we were told that the $20/hour advertised on the banner, outside was for the foot massage, only. The full body massage would be $40.00/hour.

My husband and I paid for an hour's massage in advance (foot massage for him and body massage for me). We then proceeded to have our massages. Afterwards, we left a tip for each massage therapist. As we were leaving, leaving, we were stopped by the receptionist who insisted we hadn't left enough tip (at 20%) for each massage...she then pointed to a small card (now on the counter - near the cash register ) stating that the tip amount was $15.00 REGARDLESS of the massage type/cost. This card was obviously not readily visible when we paid for our massages. Had we seen this, we would have walked out.

In front of a waiting room of several customers, the receptionist kept insisting we each needed to give her $15.00 total tip for each massage. I protested, stating that it was one's individual choice to even leave any tip...however, my husband ended up giving them the difference between what we had originally left as a tip and the $15.00 for each massage.

Needless to say, we will never frequent this place, again, under any circumstances.
