I didn't have a good experience with Emerald.

Since they have replaced our piping our garage has flooded, the toilet has stopped working and the drywallers they had come patch up the walls took all the panels (when we needed one to match paint color) and left open holes. When I tried calling Emerald Plumbing just now for assistance THEIR NUMBER WAS DISCONNECTED.

I recently purchased a 1925 home complete with all the old galvanized plumbing that had been cut into with CPVC over the years. I called them (along with a few other companies) to get a quote and fully expected to get raked over the coals. Not only was their quoted price well within my budget, they were the only contractor that actually followed up with a quote! That's just the beginning of the story though. Hugo is the re-pipe estimator and he is a great guy to work with.



I am selling a house as well, and this house had polybutylene throughout. While I had never had a problem with the system, the house was over 20 years old and it was only a matter of time. Besides, the buyer of the property would have been unable to get an insurance policy and that would have killed the sale! Again, fully expecting to get sold down the river on price, these guys came in very competitively and once again, the only company to actually give me a quote in a timely manner.

Shawn Berube was my plumber and his professionalism and work ethic was truly exceptional. Actually, I sense that Shawn went above and beyond to remedy my problem.

Using Emerald for other properties & situations, it is a shame that I never wrote about how really good they are. In June, I kept hearing the sound of running water. I called Emerald. Armando showed up the next day and after talking through the situation, I decided, that a re-plumb was the best option. On time the next morning, Matt,Hugh,Sean & Darren arrived and did the job professionally and efficiently. The Fields came to do the drywall & were equally as professional and accommodating. If I had known that it was going to be so easy, I would have done it long ago. 1000 times will I refer people to Emerald Plumbing. Thanks to individuals who did the work and the ladies in the office or is that a control tower? So, any of you out there with 1959 house in Dover Shores, just get the replumb done. It is worth the money. And by all means call Emerald. And yes, I am a real customer.

Over the years we learned to rely on Emerald Plumbing when we need a plumbing fix in the house. They arrive on time, clean up after their work, have pleasant dispositions, and do excellent work. The last time they came we had water seeping out the front of the toilet. After moving the toilet and fixing the problem, when they put the toilet back in place, they not only caulked it in, but they grouted it in as well. I was not surprised that they did that extra step, as they take great pride in their work. After experiencing Emerald's work over time, we would not call anyone else.

I wanted to let you know with how pleasantly surprised I was with the quality of service that I received today. Ian and Shaun did a great job in clearing out the slow leak in my tub in a very short amount of time. They took the time to explain the problem to me. It is nice to know I have a plumber I can call that is honest. I will be using your company for all my plumbing needs.
