I was extremely impressed with Dressed in Time from the moment I called to make my alterations appointment to when I picked up the finished product. Jill was very helpful with her vast knowledge of dresses and was able to give me a spot on price estimate of the cost of my alterations over the phone. My alterations were perfect and done with so much care! I think I found my new favorite dress store! I will most definitely be back! :)

Dressed in Time was phenomenal! I am 6.5 months pregnant and in a wedding, so I ordered my dress 2-3 sizes up because I didn't know what size I would be. I called and they suggested I wait until 1-2 weeks before the wedding to have my dress altered. I came in just a week before the date, and my dress was so large that the bride and I could have fit in the dress together! The seamstress did an amazing job from bringing up the waist to taking in the sides and bringing up the hem! Sue was so helpful, keeping me calm when I was overwhelmed by the amount of work that needed to be done. I would definitely go back! A+!

I have been going to Dressed In Time for about 7 years and I have never had anything but wonderful experiences with the dresses and the people working there. Sue has grown into a personal friend of mine and my mothers and is always a great help when we are looking for dresses. I would highly recommend Dressed In Time for anyone looking for a dress from long to short there are many options there and they are always ready to help and give u suggestions on how to make you shine in the dress you choose.

If there was an option for a zero stars, Dressed In Time earned it. This past Sunday, my sisters and I along with my mother went prom dress shopping there. We were not greeted or welcomed by any sales associates and there were none in sight. SO we started browsing dresses and holding on to the ones we liked so that we can take it to the dressing room. When a sales associate finally noticed us, she rudely took the dresses from me and said that only associates were allowed to get the dresses down. I understand maybe that is a rule (no signs posted though, maybe we would know if someone had greeted us) but did not appreciate her attitude or the lack of respect in her voice. My sister got a dressing room and started trying on dresses. I was standing outside of her stall when a different associate walked by and rudely said "EXCUSE ME." to me. I was completely baffled by now and trying hard to hold in my anger. My sister tried on the first dress that I picked out for her and fell in LOVE with it. The sales associate took it upon herself to criticize my sister's body by suggesting all kinds of alterations because "She is too petite" and it does not suit her body, etc. Really?? I told my sister that she should try on other dresses before she decides since that was the first dress she tried on. We quickly left the store. In the car, she decided that was the dress she wanted and she wanted to go back for it. You know what? I spent an hour looking for the same exact dress on the internet so that she can order it online instead. There was no way in hell I was going to give my money to a business who treats customers the way we were treated at Dressed In Time. I have no idea how they are still even in business but I hope for not much longer.

If I could give them no stars I would. Extremely rude and stuck up people. Also very unwelcoming. As a potential buyer I walked in to look and before I could reach the next rack I was basically told if I was going to just look I should leave instead of waisting their time. Never would I give money to a disgusting place like this. I would not go back.

When shopping for a prom dress, I assumed this place would be great. I was WRONG! The workers were overwhelmingly rude and stuck up. They made fun my size implying that they didn't have plus size dresses. They lied about the price saying I could get a discount (on the extremely overpriced dress) and they couldn't follow through with that. The workers were so rude, trust me. You don't wanna go there.

DO NOT GO HERE FOR A PROM DRESS. Rudest experience of my life. The second I stepped in, the woman assumed my size and led me to a section to only shop in. When asking for a dressing room, another employee rudely stated that there was a line. Then, when finally finding a dress I liked (all of the dresses look exactly the same and are extremely flashy and overpriced) she took it to start a room for me but stated that it's probably out of my price range and asked if I "even looked at the price". All of the old women working in there are not in any way tactful and unpleasant. PS one of them stepped on my friends feet in heels and did not apologize.

My daughter and I were in Dressed In Time several times over the last few weeks looking at prom dresses. The owner and the alterations woman are the best! They were friendly, helpful and went above and beyond for my daughter and myself. Shopping there was a pleasure. I have never had such a positive experience shopping before. They have so many styles and even though my daughter tried many styles on and we came back several times, they never ran out of patience with us and were always pleasant. My daughter finally decided on a dress today and we bought it from them. I have to admit I'm almost sorry that the experience is over, that's how much "fun" it was to shop there!

Loved It

This is my second time at the shop and I'm definitely coming back again! The shop has so many options from color to style and the prices are great! Sue was very helpful and was very determined to help find the dress that I wanted. This was the second homecoming dress I have purchased from Dressed in Time and I am coming back in Spring to find my prom dress!

Went to the store in March 2014 because they carry a mother of the bride line I was interested in. The owner, Sue, was helping me, and I did find a dress that seemed like it would work. However, it was not from the mother of the bride line of the dress manufacturer (which I was not informed of at the time), it was from the bridesmaid line, which runs smaller. Sue did not measure me to order the correct size, because she prides herself in looking at her clients and knowing what the appropriate size is to order. Well, she was wrong - she did not order the correct size for me and when it came in, it was too small. She did not take into consideration that this particular line runs smaller. Sue said she would check with the manufacturer to see if a new dress could be ordered as a "rush." I told her if a new dress could be obtained in time that as a good customer service gesture, she should provide alterations for free since this was her error. She told me that she would not offer me that consideration because how did she know that I "hadn't gained weight since the dress had been ordered." As it turned out, the manufacturer could only guarantee a new dress delivery for the week of the wedding, which was unacceptable to me. Therefore, I refunded the cost of the dress, but was left to try to find a new dress with about a month and a half before the wedding. I took my own measurements and thankfully found a dress on-line through New York Dresses that actually fit me.

I do not think this shop is for the mature customer, they seem to focus on the prom/pageant customer. The owner's sloppy approach to ordering the proper size of dress for her customers is lazy, and then to infer that it is her customer's fault for possibly gaining weight is self-serving and deflects responsibility from her to the customer, (I had not gained a pound since that dress had been ordered). If Sue would measure her customers and have their measurements on file, she would not be able to make accusations of the sort I was subjected to - buyer be ware!

I have been in this store twice now. One for my daughter's homecoming and then just recently for prom. The first time they were very nice and helpful. We needed a Boutonniere in a rush and they were a life saver (we initially bought one somewhere else and it was not put together correctly). The second time was for dress alterations. Initially they were rude and giving me a hard time for going there at the last minute (two weeks prior). We didn't have a choice since we ordered the dress online. When we picked up the dress and my daughter tried it on, they were much more pleasant. I think this time of year they may appear rude because they are very busy. Not everyone handles stress well.

Rude

I went into this store today excited to find my prom dress, but as soon as I walked my mood immediately changed. While we were looking around the lady rudely began to chide us for looking at the plus size rack. (How were we supposed to know there was no sign) Next while I was trying on dresses she kept looking in the dressing room while I was still changing!!! She noticed that I put a dress on the chair while I was getting the next dress on and yelled an me for not taking proper care of her dresses, but she had just done the same thing 2 minuets prior. I had finally found a dress that I liked and my mother noticed a snag on it, but she claimed "that wasn't there before it must have just happened" like she was blaming me for it. This is not my first experience with rude employees there, but I assure you it will be my last.
