Not many groups have both an Addy and can just as easily bring down the house with a killer Tammy Wynette cover; then again, most acts are not the Turnarounds. These Honky Tonk impresarios played a dynamite set at Murphy's last week. Alt-Country princess, Faith Wallace, sang about pain: the crowd ached; crooned about better days: the devotees felt the joy. The gig was a living document: of truly gifted individuals both in front of and behind the tunes... that's how they have become local legends in their own time (a nifty trick if one can pull it off). Rest assured, by performance's end - I had a song in my soul plus a tear in my beer. Cheers to All...
