Awful,awful don't even try this place

After visiting the Frazier Museum we searched for restaurants via our phones. I saw Proof came highly recommended and that their menu looked like it had something fOr everyone. We do have a large-ish party consisting of 8 people and one child that is three. I saw their hours and noticed they did not list lunch or dinner hours just open all day. We walked in and let the hostess, Ava, know how many people were in our party. She went to seat us and then my husband walked in the door with our son. She put the menus back immediately and said
" we're closed until 5:30 for dinner." what happened in the last 30 seconds of her going to take us to a table until now? A child that's what happened. We were lied to and refused service due to a child. Once we left and got into the car I called to ask if they had lunch or dinner hours, Ava, answered and said they were open now and did not have a wait. Once I told her who I was, she hung up the phone on me. If Children are not allowed in your restaurant fine, but why are you lying about it? Rude and inconsiderate. I will find every review I can about this horrific place and make sure everyone we know will never grace your hole in the wall, crappy restaurant with their prescence or business, ever. By the way the art inside your restaurant is a joke, come up with your own ideas instead of copying other famous restaurants. They do it so much better for a reason.
