so i bought my first real handgun yesterday and was very happy with the folks at Tilfords. not only were they polite but helpful and reasonable. Got a nice gun at a good price. even was there after hours finishing the paperwork and no one acted like i was killing them, even on a saturday. would do business with them again for sure.

I And Many Of My Friends Have Shopped At Tilford's For Years And Find The Service To Be Great, Displays Are Even Better, And The Prices Are Great Also, The Tilford's Won't Charge Extra For The Use Of Credit Cards And Even Give A Discount For Cash To Gun Buyers!!! I went to Tilfords on 12/21/11 with $2000 to purchase a .45ACP Pistol. I intended to buy a Remington R1. The woman at the register said there were none in stock The web site indicated there were 2 models in stock. She summoned a large guy with curly hair who told me there were 2 models of the R1 pistol, there are in fact 4 models and after I conveyed that information to him the conversation shut down. The large guy lit a cigarette (yuck) and the woman at the register clammed up and began to stare at the back wall, ignoring me. They may sell firearms, but courtesy to a customer doesnt seem to be important. I immediately exited. I will never go here again, nor would I recommend this place to anyone. I would rather shop at a Pawn Shop.
