Started in 1911, W.A. Benjamin Electric manufactures a wide line of electrical distribution equipments including switchgears, panelboards, energy management products, embedded power metering products and retrofits. The firm initially started manufacturing lighting and power panelboards in a barn shop in Los Angeles and than evolved to offer fire alarm boxes, stage lighting dimmer controls and switchboards for many different applications. The family-owned firm is based in Los Angeles, Calif. and houses engineering and construction facilities to provide bus duct connections into the new or existing equipment. The products manufactured by W.A. Benjamin Electric have Underwriter's Laboratories Listings since 1929.
