I wouldn't take a sick bowel movement to this chamber of horrors. The vets there over medicated a small pet dog with steroids. I was totally against this type of treatment - because of the breed. But the vets there wouldn't listen. They basically butchered this sweet adorable little dog who had no health problems whatsoever till the vet butchers at vca got done with him. He died a horrible painful death. The over medication basically ate his insides up - liver, kidneys, pancreas, rupture and bleeding from the stomach, blood in the urine. In a matter of hours the little guy was dead. He was basically butchered by these morons. I am seeking legal action for their incompetence, Butchering a happy, healthly little dog - VCA should be shut down now and pronto.

Horrible! Dr. Susan Crisp was...

Horrible! Dr. Susan Crisp was friendly with our puppy, however, not as friendly with us. I would never hurt my dog or let anyone hurt her, and my young son tapped her on the nose because she was biting him and wouldn't stop. I told him nicely not to do it that way and she cut me off, looked very annoyed, and said, "We don't do that." to my son. She did it in a mean way that pinched a nerve with me. I will handle my son-and he wasn't mean to our puppy, so for her to do that really did not sit well with me at all. I almost left right then before anything began. I also felt they were pushy and wanting me to microchip our dog and get all the extras I'm not so sure about getting.

Not only this, I called to ask about the fecal results for my puppy. I NEVER received any phone call about them, and the lady on the phone wanted to argue with me saying someone did call. All she needed to do was tell me the results, and not sit there and tell me the vet tech called and talked to someone. This is my cell phone, and I am the only one to answer this phone. I NEVER got a phone call period and told her that was funny because I never received a call. But the fact she had to argue rather than simply tell me what I was asking for was strike two with this place.

There will be NO strike 3 as I'm done. I thought this would be a nice place- but was not pleased with how I was treated or how the Dr. was with my son. We took our puppy to another vet when we first got her-wish we lived closer to there because that Dr. was super nice to all of us and our puppy as well.

I have been going to VCA Mill ...

I have been going to VCA Mill Run for several years and find the staff and Dr's. are very compassionate and caring. They always welcome me and my pet w/open arms. They have given great care to my pet and my daughter's pet for years. I put my whole trust in them, unlike other vets I have been to in past years. I would highly recommend VCA Mill Run if you are looking for a Vet you can count on and one who will tell you the truth.

Perfect All Around

I have a very small Maltese. He was groomed perfectly. I have him Puppy Cut, and he was perfectly even. His groomer was loving and truly cared about my pooch! Julie is wonderful.
