If I could give 0 stars I would. Mazzaferro construction pointed my stairs with my connecting neighbor who is an elderly legally blind women. We try to look out for her. After looking up reviews Yelp being one of them we felt secure in this business. I don't know if the other reviewers are plants but if not they are very lucky they had no problems. Joe has no integrity for his work at all. On May 30 he completed the pointing on my stairs. By the end of December everything started to crack and by March the mortar started to come out in chunks. We waited for the weather to get nice to contact him and he gave us the runaround .Four times we called the first three he said he would come by to check it out. Liar never did. Finally the fourth time he said it's not guaranteed and would not stand by his work. Helloooo could you have said that the first time instead of jerking us around. I had to contact the BBB to only find out he had other complaints one that he didn't even answer. So to finalize ....... my job wasn't that big, but $1000 is $1000. If you want to take the chance you will have no problems so be it but just remember he won't be there if you do. THIS IS A REAL REVIEW!!!!!
