Change has been at the cornerstone of my career! My work as a therapist for individuals, an EFT Couples Counselor, an executive communications coach/facilitator, and a nicotine cessation specialist has assisted clients though their journey for wellness, addiction recovery and self-improvement. My clients have primarily been individuals, couples, and groups in corporate settings and therapeutic settings. I began my career in executive coaching and counseling in New York City after completing a master’s degree and a coaching certification at Columbia University. My undergraduate degree is from the University of California, Los Angeles. After UCLA I worked as a program specialist for individuals with psychiatric and physical challenges. In New York I worked with individuals and their families at St. Luke’s Hospital. In addition, I worked with young adults and their families who were experiencing issues with depression, anxiety, suicide ideation, and ADHD. My work as an executive communications’ coach and faciliatator has given me the opportunity to work with individuals and facilitate teams in corporate settings. The scope of my work also includes assessments such as the Myers-Briggs Type Indicator (MBTI), the DISC, and the Strong Indicator. In addition, I develop written and oral communication strategies for teams, feedback protocols, decision-making protocols, interviewing and presentation strategies, as well as anger management strategies. Currently, I work for the Care and Counseling Center of Georgia as a staff therapist; an EFT couples coach, a certified nicotine cessation specialist and a certified executive communications coach. My clients are from all walks of life, however I’ve worked extensively with Millennials (18 to 33 year olds), couples in relationship distress, individuals dealing with an addiction, and individuals who have anxiety, ADHD, and depression. Individual coaching clients are looking to make career transitions, turbo charge their career, and enhance their communication in a workplace setting. My corporate clients’ include the Coca-Cola Company, Clark Atlanta University, Clarkston Development Faction (CDF), American Pathways, Discovery Channel, Eastern TV-NY and Talentedly-New York office, as well as numerous individuals in corporate settings. In addition, I have been a guest lecturer at Georgia Tech University where I spoke about the prevalence of ADHD and its impact on the families and the educational system. Personally, I thrive on the energy of others and I enjoy connecting with people while helping them develop their inner potential. I believe that achieving your personal best, in the workplace and in your personal life can be realized with focus, energy, and a great coach!
