Provided by YP.comNot a trendy noveaux restaurant.
It's definitely an old-school type of restaurant. If you go in there thinking they're going to kiss your a**, you're in for a unfortunate surprise. Their service is fine, but old-line, not trendy. Be a respectful customer and they will give you amply excellent service.
Their daily specials are a great change-up. Their regular menu choices are largely good. The pig shank and Jagerschnitzel are must-tries. The green peppercorn sauce is excellent on whatever it is served on.
Their beer-selection is German-biased, but good German beers, not the shopworn German beers commonly exported to the United States. Their liquor selection leans heavily towards European tastes. Their wine selection has some German and European entries, but is California-heavy, unfortunately.
The food is good, the prices are moderate, but overall its worth it.
Recommended.
