Be prepared to pay upfront and have a list of questions and tasks (like having him write a letter) ready with you to ask him. Typically it will only last 15-20 min of actual meeting time. (there might be 30m to 1hr of paperwork and waiting around beforehand).... There are NO followups (without paying for another appointment) from your meeting, don't expect any phone call or email followup. It's all very clinical, rather than about creating any sort of "relationship". If you do it right, and know exactly what you want, perhaps you can save some money vs a regular lawyer. But if you need someone to "be there for you", look for another lawyer.

A Champion of Tenants Rights We hired the Tenants Legal Center to defend us in an eviction. Mr. Curry was knowledgeable and helpful and really cared about our case. He was able to get us a great result with plenty of extra time, no rent and, most important, no damage to our credit. He made the best out of a bad situations. If you are going to court you need an attorney. If you an a tenant, you need him.

I requested legal advice from Christian Curry to break a lease for an apartment that was not suitable on the move in date. Mr. Curry recommended writing a letter stating the law and where the landlord/property manager was in violation. Within a few days, a resolution was made to successfully break the lease, turn the keys in, and pick up the rent and security deposit I had already paid. It was a huge relief to get out of that lease. Mr. Curry was extremely helpful and I have had really great experiences with the Tenant Legal Center in San Diego- I am not sure what I would do without that office! Thanks everyone for helping me with my various landlord problems.

Did a really great job on my case. I was being evicted because my landlord had lost the house in forclosure without telling me. We settled with 90 days to move, no damage to my credit and free rent. I recommend him

Mixed reviews here because Mr. Curry was a little standoffish and didn't show much interest in our case. However, he did author the standard letter for us in regard to an uncooperative landlord and we were able to get out of the bogus lease with no penalty. Still to this day I'm not sure if it was worth the money.

This man is an excellent attorney. When I interviewed with Mr. Curry he made me realize I had rights. I strongly recommend Mr. Christian Curry if you are having tenant rights problems.

We were very nervous. Our landlord was refusing to work with us. After Mr. Curry wrote a letter for us the landlord started taking our demands seriously. It gave us real peace of mind and we are very pleased with the service and the result.

Gave generic, advice that appears it's from a boiler plate form. Worse yet, the forms are not up to date on the most recent changes to federal and state law. You'd be better off going to legalzoom for the money you're going to spend here.

I would NEVER go back... I would rather defend myself than pay his High fees!!!

Very effective in court and a tough fighter. I was very glad he was on my side.

Wrote one letter and my landlord backed down completely. Very efficient and well known and knows this area of law inside and out.

He showed up late at the court. He knew the plaintiff's attorney. did not really explain anything to me what they were doing. did not even go into the courtroom. yes, I was able to stay at my place but later I found out I did not have to pay plaintiff's attorney fees if judge heard my case and if I had won. no respect for his client and does not explain things to you. I know you are in panic mode but do your research and find the right lawyer if you are going to get one.
