Amanda Marsch, MD, is a board-certified dermatologist with expertise in general dermatology as well as complex conditions such as medication reactions in the skin, cutaneous vasculitis, skin manifestations of graft-versus-host disease (GVHD), HIV-related skin changes, cutaneous lymphoma, pyoderma gangrenosum, pemphigoid, pemphigus, morphea, lichen planus, lichen sclerosis, hidradenitis suppurativa, and cutaneous connective tissue disease.As an assistant professor in the Department of Dermatology, Dr. Marsch trains medical students, interns and residents at UC San Diego School of Medicine. Her research interests are in dermatopathology, which is the study of skin diseases at a microscopic and molecular level. She has authored 17 peer-reviewed publications and written several book chapters. Dr. Marsch completed her residency in dermatology at the University of Illinois, Chicago, and earned her medical degree from University of Kentucky College of Medicine. She is board certified in dermatology.
