I'm so frustrated with this Dr. I can barely type. While I'm sure he is competent, if not a good Dr, his business practices and staff are lacking. If you have an appointment during the week he is very personable and understanding, and too their credit they do try to fit you in if you have an emergency, but expect NOTHING if you call and need a question answered, or need test results back. Calling him and leaving a message will get you NOWHERE. After not receiving his promised update, we called for test results 5 times over a 1 month period. Each time his nurse (who I'm sure is capable but acts so bored with her job you feel you need to apologize for bothering her) says she will deliver the message. Never received a call back. Had to finally schedule an appointment to get test results. He claimed to have never received the 5 messages. Hmm, really? Another time, was hospitalized and was told to contact Dr. Hlavinka for an answer to a question regarding medication. Same result. Talked to same uninterrested nurse who said she needed to talk to Dr. Hlavinka and call me back with the answer. Waited all day and still have not heard from him after calling 2 times and waiting 2 days. Did he again " not get the messages" or is he only a Dr. from 9-4, if you have an appointment? Don't know, don't care. We're out of here. Sorry to have bothered you Dr. Hlavinka.
