Established in 1973, Avance is a nonprofit organization that offers a range of early childhood education, parenting and family support services. The organization serves the families of low-income and at-risk communities. It offers multicultural posters for classroom child care and preschool programs and students in kindergarten through grade three. Avance accepts donations, as well as operates several locations in Texas, New Mexico and California. The organization maintains a work force of more than 700 employees. In addition, it serves over 20,000 individuals annually through adult literacy programs.
