I've had plenty of work done at Howard location for the last 5 years, and I have always been satisfied and felt that I was treated fairly. I have had an Engine done in my 2008 Audi A6, a Transmission done in a friend 2010 Ford F 350. The jobs were done on time and at the prices I was originally informed of when he gave me a quote. In my experiences with car dealerships as well as mom and pop shops, is what I call them, he is the most honest straight forward clear cut person and he sticks to his warranties. For me that is a big deal and if you are looking for somewhere to do outstanding work in a timely manner at a fair price this were you need to go.

I built my first engine, a 324 cu. inch Olds in 1959, and a whole bunch of engines since. then. This company recently rebuilt my 217,500 mile and blown 5.7 litre GMC V8, and they used the care and quality of performance I did when doing my own work . They pride themselves on doing a first class job,on time, and they delivered. It is an open door shop, and I had plenty of opportunity to see the work in progress. Does it get any better than that? The engine runs extremely well, and the cost was half what several other shops quoted for their crate engines which had little more warranty at double the cost. Advance delivered. That is why they have been in this business for so many years. As a practicing lawyer, my nature is to look for the worst before moving into something. Where Advance is concerned, there is no worst, and the court records are conspicuous with a complete absence of this company as a defendant. I am proud to say my trip back to New York in my Chevy 1995 Tahoe was made possible to the well crafted and your knowledgeable staff. I was stuck in Florida with brake issues and transmission trouble from my so called Mechanic in New York who inspected the vehicle and gave me the all green light to go ahead after he did all the repairs on my brakes and transmission. Oh and don’t forget my drive shaft.

I will like to thank the staff at Advance Engines & Trans for helping me with my over heated engine on I-95. I was concern about their service and I called THE BBB and was empress by the comments that was giving on Advance Engine & Trans. The estimate did not change for the repair that I needed and the towing was free because it was a major repair. I was happy that I found them because I am a single mother.

My experience with Advance Engines & Trans was a pleasant one. The service advisor was very helpful and patient when I asked her to explain the invoice to me, and my warranty. I found out that it was a family owned and ran business. I originally brought my caf to them in 2009 for a transmission, and it runs beautiful till this day. Like their sign says they fixed my vehicle right the first time, and now I'm recommending all my family and friends to them.
