We have gotten puppies from this shelter twice. The hours the shelter is open is somewhat limiting but the pets are well cared for, The shelter is nice and the employees are animal lovers. They can always use volunteers and happily accept donations of supplies such as old newspapers.

my name is hilda vasquez im a mexican from southern california, the only reason i tell u this is becouse of how the ppl from the animal shelter have treated me, i had a boxer capone the animal shelter took him from me the said becouse he got off his chain three times, when they took him from the third time they did not give me any citation ive talked to county attornys, council ppl all told me by law they are to give me paper wrk first before taking my dog. hes up for adoption with what right DONNA took my dog said he would be theirs for five days nd her exact words "you wont be able to get him back the board will fight you!!" im not done my voice will be heard, i just got a letter in mail from them weeks after they took him...im gonna call news ppl who will listen im tired of been judged becouse of my raise im not stuped i have rights...i will be heard!!!!!

I was treated very poorly at this shelter. I filled out all the necessary forms and gave good references and none were ever contacted. I am an animal lover and wanted to adopt another to go with the two I already have.I would not recommend them at all.
