They repaired my furnace by securing a loose wire, my only cost was a service charge. Gene Ray had already inspected the furnace and advised I either needed to replace the circuit board for 500.00+ or install a new furnace. Of course, they were pushing hard for the latter. All of this occured while we were experiencing the artic cold temps. Koehring was honest and fair. Quite a huge difference in cost verses the hogwash I was getting from Gene Ray.

This company is a rip-off -- it overcharged me $50. As part of servicing my air conditioner, I asked them to put an insulated tube on one of the pipes. The guy agreed, but after looking at his van, he didn't have the part, and agreed to come out the next day. Wanting to make sure that I wasn't charged for that work, I paid him only after he included that work on his written invoice. He left, and then two weeks later, I got a 2nd invoice for $50. When contacting them, they said that even though I never agreed to the additional costs, nor was made aware that they planned on charging me more than the agreed upon price, and even though I had an invoice that clearly included the work as part of the original invoice, they feel it's fair to charge me as much as they want without my agreement. Stay away from this company - they do not even respect written contracts.
