called appliance MD to fix my fridge, i ask if they can schedule an appointment, and the dispatcher tells me the tech cant do it on friday nor monday or after 5... so i make arrangement so my wife can be there for the tech to come sometime after 2pm and 3:45 rolls around still no call from the tech. i call the dispatcher back and only to find out THEY DO NOT TAKE ANY MORE CALLS AFTER 3PM. they have an answer service center that take your call and hope for the best, left a message, and a some time later i get a call from the tech (by now im aggravated) the guy tells me: "oh im a LITTLE LATE im in coconut grove and ill be there in about 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours..." im like wtf??? really i had my wife waiting all of this time off from work only so you will end up coming after 5 anyways??? i told him: DON'T BOTHER, and as I hang up he says "Great!" Guess he wanted to go home early. Owner Wayne G even gives his service only 2 stars. What a joke! I would never let this company in my home.

Appliance MD technician repaired my Miele Dishwasher. He was prompt and efficient and he also knows about the product. Thanks again great job.

Awful. Unless you are a masochist, avoid them. The only thing worse than their service is the warranty on the products (Danby) they (don't really) service.

I rate them with one star only because if I rated them with zero it would look like I didn't bother rating them. As of today (Aug. 19, 2010) I have been without the use of my Viking cook top for two months. I have had bad service, been spoken to rudely over the phone and mostly I was just completely ignored. When I finally had enough I decided to go see someone in person. What I discovered is they are a "fly-by-night" operation being run from a private home in a residential neighborhood, which is illegal. There is no sign, plaque or even a small label on the building (or mail box) indicating it is a business. I have severed ties with them and I am now back at ground zero with my extended service warranty provider waiting to be assigned a new contractor. If you get assigned to this company I suggest you ask your provider to assign a different company. If you are browsing the phone book, by all means, avoid this company and call someone else! I am reporting this experience to the BBB.

We have been dealing with these people through our warranty contract from Home Depot. The appliance that is in need of service is a 3 year old dryer. We have been waiting for part for 3 months now. When you call there is only ONE person in the shop and they have limited and/or NO knowledge. I have been without my dryer for 3 months with no relief in sight. I would rate these peoples customer service, but they don't have any. I would NEVER deal with them again nor with any item or warranty from Home Depot.

I was hosting a dinner party for twelve guests, when my range just stopped working. Because I only had a few hours to prepare the meal I was planning, and had already purchased the foods to be cooked, I was panic stricken. I took a chance and went on the Internet and found that Appliance MD offered 24-hour emergency service. When the technician arrived he was courteous, efficient and very professional. His knowledge of my repair problem quickly had a solution and I was able to finish preparing my meal, my guests were none the wiser! Thank you Appliance MD you truly are the best at what you do. I will recommend their services to everyone I know. I thought this review needed to be shared with others, so they too could know that there is a company that cares!!!!
