Racketeering at its Finest!

You are led and influenced to buy a $1600 keyboard that I later found out was hundreds less elsewhere. The band association lives to pursue their own children and does not support those who are not park of the their "clique".

They have a very large telemarketing scam on premises. Go to all county music for fairness and quality value with true integrity

Best experience of my life

I attended ASM for about 8 years and it was by far the best experience of my life. While at ASM, I learned to play guitar. I know quite a few people that attend other music schools and I have come to the realization that ASM is one of the few that actually teaches students to read music and understand music theory, rather than simply learn how to memorize a song. ASM gives students the opportunity to meet other aspiring musicians through band meets and other festivities. Students meet once a week with their private instructor. They also get a chance to participate in recitals, concerts, shows, and competitions, all of which are extremely valuable for anyone who wishes to pursue music as a career or simply pursue music for their own entertainment. Regardless of the reasons for attending, it is truly a rewarding experience. I graduated from ASM in 2013 and I know for a fact that I will never give up my passion for music. ASM teaches more than just music; it builds friendships that last a lifetime and a passion for music that never dies. It is absolutely worth every penny. If I had the opportunity to relive every experience I ever had at ASM, I would do it in a heartbeat.

Phenomenal

I attended this school for a few years when I was younger and now my daughter attends. She started off with piano lessons and did really well. They taught her how to read music and the proper techniques on how to play the piano properly. Two and a half years later she added the guitar and has been playing both instruments extremely well. She is now in the advanced show band and has been having a blast playing intricate pieces of music. I recommend ASM for anyone who wants to enrich their child's life with high quality music skills.

Highly Recommended!

ASM…the place where I spent my entire childhood from the time I was 7 years old until I became an adult in my early 20’s. The place where I learned and mastered how to play a very difficult instrument, the accordion, because I was always encouraged by the teachers and band directors to “try my best”, “never give up because it’s too hard”, and “practice every day” because that’s what makes us good at anything we do.

Now in my 40’s, I am proud to say that everything I learned at ASM has impacted my life in a positive way. I may not have become a music teacher, or a music producer, or a professional musician, as a number of my friends from ASM have gone on to become, but I still play my accordion and the piano and have introduced my love of music to my son who is now a “second generation” student at ASM.

Could I have gotten this at any other music school? Sure, I could have. However, I believe that one of the things setting ASM apart from other schools is the fact that in addition to having a 30 minute private lesson, the kids are also encouraged to attend the band that is appropriate for the level that they’re at in their lesson books. Attending band is FREE OF CHARGE and depending on their level, a student could go to band up to 3 times a week. This unique environment gives them the opportunity to interact with other students and learn how to play together as a group as opposed to just playing alone. This teaches kids how to be team players and could apply to any aspect of their lives, not just music.

Another thing that sets ASM apart from other schools is the big music “Festival” that is held every year. This festival gives the kids a chance to show off their talents by playing a solo (by memory), a pop solo, and a duet. New students to the program don’t compete but are given a chance to play in front of a group of people and in front of a judge. The more advanced students compete against their peers, also in front of a judge. The judge listens and critiques their playing, all in a positive manner, and will give praise when it’s due but will also give very constructive pointers on how to improve their skills which the students will work on for the following year. It’s truly is a unique experience and one that I remember fondly.

In addition to the solos and duets, the Festival also showcases the bands that I’ve already mentioned. You’ll hear music genres from classical to rock and roll and from jazz to reggae…you name it and the kids have the opportunity to learn it at ASM

Unless you’re already doing this, you cannot imagine how great it is to sit down with your child and play music together. ASM has given me that opportunity and I am so thankful that my parents put me through the program as a child because playing music is something that I’ve continued well into adulthood. I already know that my son loves ASM and is having a great experience there, just as I did.

I recommend ASM to anyone that is interested in their child learning music and having a fun, positive, and inspiring place to do so.

A great place for children to learn music

I have put two children through this school on keyboard and drums and bass. The staff made sure that my children were well educated both in the ability to read music and how to play with others. both children have done exceedingly well in Their educational schooling as well. This school offers many fun activities for the children over the years and has allowed them to grow up in a normal loving and positive environment. I have nothing negative to say about this school and would recommend anyone to bring their children here
