I've been a patient of Dr Paul Kramm for nearly 20 years. I have NEVER seen a doctor with so much empathy, patience and kindness. His staff are courteous and professional. He realizes that everyone's body is different and responds differently to different medications and treatments. He was a god-send for me, then when I was caring for my parents and step mom. My mom later developed Altzheimers but remembered Dr Kramm and was always so happy to go to her appointments, NOT with other doctors. Dr. Kramm explained the difference in dependence and addiction. I'm not one that likes to take pain meds, but ever since I was 25 my MRIs seem to belong to someone in their 90s. He also can spot an addict, abuser and user from 10 feet away. So if you are not in real pain, don't waste your money, he will not perscribe you meds. If you become one of his pain medicine patients, be ready for random drug test, to see if you are taking your meds correctly and not selling them or if you are doctor shopping with meds in your system that he hasn't perscibed. You will have to sign a pain management contract that is VERY strict. He also performs procedures like prolotherapy, Rhizotomy and anastesia injections in trigger points. He doesn't take any form of Medicaid, unfortunately. Other that that, he's the BEST pain manager Batons Rouge offers.

Dr. Kraam is the first doctor I've seen who walked through my problem very thoroughly. He listens very well and has helped me to understand my problem and he thoroughly explains the treatment options. You will never feel like your asking a stupid question.
