Took my grandsons and hubby to the show enjoy the price and atmosphere going back for sure our night out

I have been going here for over 30 years now and I am thankful there is a place for people with a small budget to take their family and have a good time

Hello my family and I visited the MJR allen park cinema on on Saturday August 26. We were planning to see Madagascar 3 at the 2:45PM showing. I will not attend this theater with my family again. I have 4 children. I was told by the employee Paige that no one was allowed to bring in strollers. If you had to bring it in you had to put it in the break room. I respect your rules but there should be a sign posted letting people know with families not to bring in strollers. If this was the case I would not have brought it in at all. Also if you are going to keep strollers in break rooms there should be some kind of name tag that is placed on the stroller so the stroller will not be mistaken for some elses. I believe this is unprofessional and I will not recommand this theater to family and friends. I asked for a refund because I was not going to leave my personal belongings in an employee break room. I will also let family and friends know that this is not a kid friendly theater.

*WOW* I was at the ALLEN PARK Theater last week and I am so impressed with the changes.. with NEW CARPET< NEW TILE< NEW PAINT and so CLEAN it is worth going and if you have not been in a while I suggest you go back......It is so bright and nice and clean now.... It looks like a new theather and STILL only $1.00 (went at nite it was $1.50).... cant wait to take freinds and family back now...... being on a budget to see movies for $1.00 and it looks GREAT>>>> worth a second try.....

My family adores the Allen Park Theatre. Not only is the price great ($1 for movies before 6:00pm, $1.50 after), but the popcorn and pop are cheaper than the full price movie theaters. AND you get one free refill of pop and popcorn.Since it's a $1 show, it's not a fancy-schmancy place like the expensive theaters, but they do a great job keeping it clean, presentable and comfortable.

theaters are clean, the sound and clarity are great. During the recession, its nice to take your family to the movies with popcorn, drink, and fruit snack (kids pack) free refills, for a family of 4 for under $20.
